After having three kids together, how do Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves keep their marriage hot? They make time for each other! Us Weekly chatted with McConaughey’s gorgeous wife at the Macy’s Got Your 6 event in NYC on Tuesday, May 14, and she shared their secret to a happy marriage.

“The main thing to always remember — and I think it’s important — you and your partner came first before the kids,” Alves told Us. “So even if it’s taking a night here or a day there or a weekend, it’s just very important to do.”

The 31-year-old model/fashion designer also finds a way to balance work and family time. She and McConaughey, 43, are parents to son Levi, 4, daughter Vida, 3, and son Livingston, 4 months.

“I’m here for Macy’s today — shooting for the INC campaign — and I got to bring both of them, Livingston and Vida, with me. So it’s the first girls trip that we’re doing and we have the baby. She’s been on set with me every day and really been a part of the whole process,” the mom shared. “She gives her opinions. She’s helping me pick out the shoes. She’s very cute.”

Alves also said that baby Livingston is doing “great.” “He’s a big baby and a happy baby,” she shared. “Thank God!”

And her husband is growing too! After losing nearly 40 pounds in November for his role in The Dallas Buyer’s Club, McConaughey has been slowly putting back on the weight. “I’m very happy about that!” Alves told Us with a laugh. “It’s for his job and it’s a beautiful thing –- the work is unbelievable. It’s amazing work what he did, so I’m very proud of him. But a little meat on the bones is good!”

Indeed, Kim — who will welcome her bundle of joy in July — said earlier this year that she judged her older sister for having Mason, 3, and Penelope, 9 months, without a ring on her finger. “I was really firm and strict,” she told Cosmopolitan magazine in February. “But she was like, ‘Marriage isn’t what I want.’ And later, I realized she had a better family life than I did.”

These days, Kim is in no rush to walk down the aisle again, especially having just settled her divorce from ex-husband Kris Humphries after 536 days of legal drama. The former spouses separated in October 2011 but didn’t reach an agreement in court until Friday, April 18, a year and a half after their initial split. Humphries had been seeking an annulment based on fraud — he claimed their $ 10 million wedding was a ratings ploy — but that notion was dismissed at Friday’s hearing.

With her divorce now finally behind her, the star can focus on getting ready for the birth of her first child with West, 35. “[Marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don’t have this sense of urgency about it,” she told Cosmo of her romance with the rapper. “I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me.”

Philipps, 33, and husband Marc Silverstein looked excited to be spending family time together as they left an afternoon birthday party at a local park.

Philipps, who announced her pregnancy via Twitter in mid-December, dressed up her growing baby bump in a combination of patterns, including a form-fitting striped shirt, solid pink flats and a leopard-print jacket.

Kanye West‘s longtime girlfriend has come under fire for her maternity fashion choices ever since the couple first announced their happy baby news on New Year’s Eve.

“Kourtney warned me when you become a mom and become pregnant, there will be this whole new group of critics that will criticize me for everything you do,” she said in a March 26 interview on Good Morning America. “If I wear one color clothes, I’m in this kind of mood. Or if I wear heels, they’re harmful.”

But though the criticism does hurt, Kardashian says she chooses to focus on other things — like staying healthy for her baby, for instance.

“I like to be active,” she told E! News at the March premiere of Tyler Perry‘s Temptation. “But I’ve been chilling out. I took a week off, just to rest, and it was amazing.”
