Jessica Biel‘s Met Gala look was a little on the nose. Wearing head-to-toe Giambattista Valli, the 31-year-old actress wore a fake septum nose ring at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City May 6. Biel’s edgy nose jewelry was an obvious nod to the theme of the night and the opening of the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition.

The Total Recall star tweeted that her Fred Leighton jewels and Giambattista Valli clutch were “kind of everything.” Biel attended the star-studded gala with the designer himself. “I’m thrilled and honored to be your date tonight!” Biel told the couturier on Twitter.

Last year’s Met Gala marked the first time Biel and Justin Timberlake walked the red carpet together after getting engaged over the holidays. When the A-listers tied the knot in Puglia, Italy, in October 2012, Biel wore a pink and white Giambattista Valli gown.

“I wanted the dress to be very romantic and feminine and a shape that I very rarely wear. I have never been crazy about all-white wedding dresses, for me at least. [Giambattista Valli] had created that same fabric in a fuchsia-and-pink combination for a dress in a previous collection, and I asked him if he could create that same pattern in a white combination, and he suggested pink. It was a bit of a leap of faith at the time, but it turned out better than I could have ever imagined,” she told ELLE in January 2013. “[Putting it on], I felt like I had made the right choice. I felt elegant. And it moved like a dream.”

Simpson accidentally let it slip in March that she’s expecting a baby boy. Her friends and family threw her a Tom Sawyer-themed baby shower on Apr. 14. “Jessica looked so happy and content with her family and friends around her,” a source told Us Weekly of the party. “She had the biggest grin on her face.”

Parker, 48, wore a double-breasted blue print shirt paired with rolled-up jeans for the mother-daughters jaunt, and finished off the eye-catching outfit with a white studded purse.

Little Tabitha, who held on tightly to Parker’s hand during the walk, wore a similar top under her black jacket, but instead of jeans, opted for light grey tights and pink shoes. Twin sister Marion, who lagged a bit behind the bunch, kept up with the blue-print theme with a cute dress and pink cardigan.

Parker previously spoke to Us Weekly about her two girls and their budding creativity, telling Us Weekly: “My daughters draw me pictures all the time, and if I’m away, they mail me wonderful, wonderful pictures of themselves, self portraits.”

“[Marion] Loretta just drew a beautiful, long beaded necklace that she sent me in the mail that she hopes to have one day,” the former Sex and the City actress continued. The girls, she added, are currently “very into ballet.”

Earlier this year, Parker opened up to the UK’s Telegraph, admitting that having not one, but two girls to look after was a bigger leap than she’d initially thought.

“Going from one to three children is a much bigger adjustment than becoming a mother in the first place,” she told the publication in January. “One child in retrospect seems a cake walk compared to where I stand today.”

Heels-loving Kim Kardashian may want to listen to what Sarah Jessica Parker has to say about stilettos. In the latest issue of Net-a-Porter’s online magazine, the Sex and the City star, who made Manolo Blahnik a household name, says she’s trading in her heels for sneaks these days — on doctor’s orders.

“For ten or so years, I literally ran in heels. I worked 18-hour days and never took them off. I wore beautiful shoes, some better made than others, and never complained,” the actress, 47, told the magazine.

After twisting her ankle on the set of I Don’t Know How She Does It, in which she wore less expensive shoes to be true to her working mom character, “I went to a foot doctor and he said, ‘Your foot does

It’s sad, because my feet took me all over the world, but eventually they were like, ‘You know what, we are really tired, can you just stop — and don’t put cheap shoes on us?’”

The second go-round, physically, has been rougher for Simpson, she admitted.” This pregnancy is the complete opposite. Like with Maxwell, I felt amazing. Like I could do everything, eat everything. Do whatever I wanted,” she recalled. “I had a lot of energy. This time around . . . I’m like exhausted. Eating Tums. That’s my snack of choice.”
